Any sample essay or notes on chrch state relations? we didnt really focus on it in class

I'm thinking Hitler's policy of Anti- Semitism could come up. The rise of Sinn Fein has apparently been predicted to come up every year since 2006, so hopefully this'll be the year. Everyone seems to be saying Cumman na nGaedheal and Fianna Fail's economic policies too.

I have such a love/ hate relationship with history. It's so interesting but the amount of time I spend on it compared to my other subjects is crazy.

yay, I'm only excited beucase i want to revise it :) I'll type it up tomorrow ok, sorta tired from spending 3 hours learning it earlier:p what do we think they could ask on the show trials by the way? they tend to avoid the "outline what happened..." sorta thing and last years paper was jammed fulla russian stuffs:confused: that prob means show trials won't come actually, right :(

okey so i could destroy and wee on any of these topics if they were to come up:

    Movements for Reform:
    Butt/Parnell(strengths and weaknesses)
Unionist resistence to home rule 1882-1914

    Sovereignty and Partition:
    Economic policies
fall of home rule and rise of sinn fein

    Dictatorship and Democracy:
    church-state relations
rise of fascism, im guessing i could tweak that for rise of hitler/mussolini

So im planning to just do all the case sstudies in case ^^ doesn't come up. Am i leaving anything ovious out?

I dunno what sections are which...but I'll tell you what I've heard, these are from the institute, and the HTAI lecture in Trinity a while ago.

    Movements for Reform:
    Strike and Lockout
    GAA

    Sovereignty and Partition:
Economic Policies 1922-1939 (This should definitely come up)
    Treaty Negotations
    Cultural Identity I think...

    Dictatorship and Democracy:
Church-State relations in Germany and Italy (again, should be a definite)
A direct question on the Show Trials
    Italy's domestic policies (maybe(
    Nazis in WWII

Where/who did you hear this from?

Every essay I'm studying is on that :D
