Looking back of course with the benefit of hindsight we only have ourselves to blame for not winning this league. Nevermind the 0-0 draws, even if we had just kept our 1-0 leads over Everton and Wigan instead of succumbing to late late goals, this league would have looked a lot tighter.

Besides for that we had the opportunity to strike a huge psychological blow on Man U while they were at the World Club Championship but we imploded. Instead of widening our lead we bottled it, and it gave Man U the courage and belief to catch us.

Make no mistake, we have only ourselves to blame.

and if United hadn't have had a poor start to the season Liverpools poor run would have been meaningless anyway. You lot didn't win the league because United were better. That simple.

United are champions because they deserve it, not because liverpool let them, no matter how much you try to demean or belittle it.
