    Can anyone tell me the best German language course, there is loads to choose from, I did german before but i need to start from scratch again

    I recommend Michel Thomas. There is a foundation course available on 8 (I think) CDs. They'll get you up and away. Look them up on ebay - around the £20 mark.

    I must admit that the Michel Thomas CD course I did was for French but the method is the same. I was pipped the other day for the German foundation course for £16 plus £5 postage.
