they believe that taking a picture of them steals their souls

Travellers don't have souls! You can perform the test from "Blade Runner" and a Traveller's eyes don't flicker.

I have no sympathy for the Police, a helicopter worth £5million should have had better security.

After threatening staff working in the operations room, they set about wrecking the helicopter, smashing six of its windows and causing tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage.

It is expected to be out of action for another two weeks while repairs are made.
Three days to fix the damage, another eleven to get the smell out of the cockpit.

    hmm

why didn't they sell it to a scrapper or something ?

The identities of the mob members are unkown - does that mean that a police station has no CCTV, and nobody watching over a 5 Million pound asset sitting out the back?

Will teach them not to be retards, hopefully.

i dont blame them, the noise of those things

That was probably the whole point. Buzz the camp site 7 times a day until they **** off to another police force's area.
do the english police actually call them gypsies? :D

The English police absolutely ****ing hate them. 9 times out of ten they don't bother arresting them, they just give them a good kicking and let them go. They always abscond anyway.

    No, they were like us.

On the contrary galwayrush, we were poor, superstitious, unwashed uneducated and one meal away from criminality of some sort or another. They took it to the roads while we starved to death or got 'civilised'.

Clannish - in fact verging on tribalism betimes, unwilling to lose face, prone to violence, fond of gargle, a 'remarkably casual' attitude to laws, fond of sports, highly mercurial, industrious in their own way....They're probably the best idea of what we were notorious for over the last two millenia.

    Those poor travellers.
Obviously the one or two bad eggs letting them all down again.

The police should really have known not to do their jobs. They shouldve built bigger fences too. Everyone should. Then things like this wont happen.
I really feel for those travellers.
My prayers go out to them.

You have to hand it to them. They had a problem and they dealt with it. :D

Infact an EC135 is the type our Gardai use and is rated as one of the quietest helicopters in the business.

    Relative to?

    - I bet that if you were asleep and I flew by your bedroom window twice, quietly, you'd prob wake up.
