UTV donegal ground to a halt tonight

    is there a general problem in ireland at the moment, went off totally then came back on very very slow, same last night.

    anyone else having general problems

    Yeah I think their DNS went down late last night for me, about an hour after you made the post. Though back on now though, no probs since.

    im getting the same probem in buncrana, im with eircom tho but nothin suprises me with them anymore id had so much broadband trouble with them over the last year..
    cant play games at all :mad:

    UTV's DNS is utter crap, use openDNS instead.

    dont think it matters as its eircom who provides the lins but still havin horrible pings

    Friday night, actually, I suffered from serious pings, which unfortunately coincided with me installing a new gigabit NIC. Was about 500ms to heanet.ie and I was blaming the NIC.

    This morning though, it was back down to ~45ms.
