Getting to Clifden

    In the next 2-3 weeks I've to try and get to Clifden from Galway on a Sunday evening after about 7pm. I'll have no car and it's a long walk - anyone know if any of the bus firms run a Sunday night/evening service or any other alternatives? Cheers.

    Galway to Clifden is only Monday - Friday.
    Head out the Oughterard road and hitch a lift.

    City Link bus goes daily from Galway to Clifden but the last one is 5.30 it gets you to clifden at 7pm. You could also try Bus Eireann bus services.
