irish poker pub tour up-date

last night was the final week in the horse and hound and turned in to a great show down with any one of 12 players could get trough. after a very hard fought final table here are the 6 players trough.

wednesday was the final week of the ippt in the ardlea inn
once again it went down to the wire with the last 4 players lefted on the table fighting for the last 2 places, well done to eamon connolly and dave christie who won the final 2 places.

What happened to the Galway venues? Couldn't find any other info besides "Massimo's" name in one or two posters placed around the town. I don't think I can join now, anyway, but would be very interested in something like this in the future.

Also would be willing to help in spreading the word, time permitting.

Its just a double chance really. Most took it straight away so played out as a freezeout.

Im travelling down to dingle on Tues night to run their pub game, and really, I need to take down the details with me regarding the structures, chip stacks, blind levels, amount of players, prizes, start time, nearby hotels for accom, etc etc etc.
They should be posted up here, we are only 5 days away from the event!

the final of the ippt will be this saturday 25th july in the fitzwilliam card club, fitzwilliam square, reg time will be at 3pm with cards in the air at 4pm. the prizepool will be 8k with a total of 80 players playing.

Prizepool 8k Breakdown

1st. 3500 euro
2nd.1750 euro
3rd. 850 euro
4th. 525 euro
5th. 350 euro
6th. 300 euro
7th 250 euro
8th. 200 euro
9th. 150 euro
10th. 125 euro

The Structure for the event as follows

10 k starting stack
20 minute clock for the first 3 levels
25 minute clock from level 4

Blind levels will be based on the fitzwilliam structure.
