Could anyone shed some light on this query:

What is the difference between a Master of Education and a Master of Arts in Education?

MEd focuses more on the administration and professional practice of education as opposed to MA/MSc in Education which focuses more on pedagogy / the science of teaching and learning and research in this. MEd is more of a professional postgrad degree without research (not even a 33% of course minor thesis).

MEd if you want to run a school or college, MA/MSc if you want to research the science of education.

The doctoral equivalents are D.Ed and PhD in Education.
