NTL has been going up and down in my area for the past 2 weeks.
I've been on the phone to them numerous times.
Sometimes it would be down for 12 hours at a time.
I sent an email to them complaining about the gross amount of downtime and that i'd like this downtime refunded to my account.

    Will they?
Or are they allowed not to provide internet service and still charge me for it.

Of coarse your entitled to a refund, its based on how many logs they have of you reporting a loss of service with them so if you logged all the days offline with them on the phone they will refund all of them, although if your on the low pack its only 68c a day

I did get some refund back once after a lot of complaining.
