ATI Catylyst Control Centre Crashing In Vista 64

Anyone having any problems with Catylyst Control Centre Crashing In Vista 64,I've got a Radeon 4870x2 at the moment but it was also happening with my previous card,a 4870.Basically when I boot I get a windows message saying that the "catalyst control centre has stopped working"
I've tried various versions of the ccc but I still get the same problem,I can uninstall the ccc and just keep the graphics driver but I miss all the nice user options that the control centre provides.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Get the driver sweeper here to ensure all display drivers are wiped clean from your pc (http://www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/ ) and then reboot

Then get the latest ATI Catalyst drivers installed after rebooting ( http://downloads.guru3d.com/ATI-Catalyst-9.5-Windows-7-|-Vista-WHQL-64-bit-download-2285.html

Uninstalling the display drivers from the ATI uninstall shield does NOT get rid of all the display drivers on your system.

Just a BTW, You need to run driver sweeper in safe mode (press f8 before windows boots) as the parts of the driver will be in use on full boot to windows
