Can I delete an old post?

    Hi

    I'm trying wihtout successs to delete an old post.
    Is it true i can't delete a post more than 48 hours old?
    And if yes, why not????

    I read your post on the Newbie forum, it's no problem, I deleted your post. For that kind of reason it is never a problem to edit an old post.

    Keep in mind our general boards rules which are not to sign up specifically to advertise or tell us about your service or products also, thanks.

    Simply because if we started letting people delete posts willy-nilly, it ruins the conversational threads. Think of the site as a big piece of fabric. If people start deleting their contributions, threads no longer make sense, and holes develop :)

    Is there a specific reason you need a post removed? :)
