Griselinia hedge fertilizer - advise need

Hi guys - I have a griselinia hedge planted almost two years now. Most plants (100 approx.) are at almost a metre now, but some (25 approx.) seem to be struggling to reach half that height. Should I fertilise the smaller plants ?, and if so with what ?. A farmer neighbour advised me to put some 10-10-20 on them, he arrived…

A farmer neighbour advised me to put some 10-10-20 on them, he arrived this evening with a bucket of the stuff and offered to put it on but I distracted him with an excuse because I wasn't sure about this.

Help please, he will probably be back tomorrow evening to see if I put it on.

I've put it on my hedges and it worked a treat.
