    National Dawn Chorus Day .
    I posted about this last year but I don't think anyone made it (me included).

    Anyone fancy getting out of bed at 4am?

    National Dawn Chorus Day is traditionally the day when wildlife enthusiasts the length and breadth of Ireland set their alarm clocks a little earlier than usual and go out to enjoy a morning of beautiful birdsong.

    This year BirdWatch Ireland branches all over the country will be holding guided dawn chorus events on and around the 17th May. They are always very popular and are ideal for beginners, so why not come along this year and see what all the fuss is about?
