Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I love photographing trees.

They are so much a part of everyday life that often they get ignored. Are there many other tree fans here?

This thread could incorporate all the uses trees are put to, timberyards, logging and transportation of wood products.

Yep, love to photograph trees, they lend themselves to landscape photography.

Some of my own tree shots can be seen at the following links

I've never photographed them as yet but i personally feel that solitary trees can be quite magnificent. note to self - must get around to trying to capture their spirit on camera.

ok these 2 were taken from the car, at night with VERY high ISO and I would not consider them to have much photographic quality but for the fact that they struck me at the time as having immense beauty for the reason that they stood alone from the rest of the trees in the snow!

13 out of 14. Wooo ! Only let down by the fact that in a moment of madness I confused the hawthorn with blackberry flowers.

This was the pic i took that got me into photography, I love it and to be honest it blind luck:). I always had a passing interest but it was solely on P&S or camera phones. I took it on a older bridge camera my dad had passed on and after printing this one i've been at it ever since.

Just realised this afternoon that it was never upload it to flickr...
