Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

XP Icons Movement

Okay here's an odd one for ye! I have a Dell Inspiron 640m with Windows XP SP3 as the OS. I have icons each side of the desktop (auto-arrange disabled) and whenever I close the lid of the laptop the USB sound plays and when I open it again the icons on the right are moved +1 place over.

Not the worse problem in the world but irritating none the less. Any ideas?

I'm guessing that the action of closing the lid causes the screen resolution to change temporarily. Since you have a 640m I'm not sure what options you have, I'm pretty sure all 640m's have Intel graphics, but there is an application for ATI cards which can save and restore icon positions on the desktop so surely other applications can do it. :)
