receiving eircom email via outlook

The last few days im struggling to receive eircom email via oultlook. It just seems to be coming in at a snails pace? Ive tried changing the incoming outgoing servers to mail1.eircom.net, mail2.eircom.net & now webmail.eircom.net but no avail? Any suggestions?
