was interresting alright ... I think there was a few ' salmons' wannabes on their bikes on the way back home last night.

Did you keep the rubber to the road?

I have photos by the way...

    ****e, I missed the dancing.

Good to meet everybody. In your civvies you all look like reasonably well adjusted people.

@Tom - I put up a thread re Sunday Spin.

There's an insinuation in there about what we look like in normal* circumstances, isn't there?

*in this case I'm using the word "normal" to denote full lycra, euro-shades and styrofoam hat. That's what we call normal around here.

It did not go well in my brain for a few hours this morning, and I left early.

That was a good laugh.....I think :D Good to meet everyone and put faces to usernames.

I'd been drinking since 4 so was half cut by the time I got there and fully cut and then some by the time I left and I'm sure much waffle was spouted and much drunken stupidity engaged in in the interim: all in all a good night of merriment so!

Woke up to find a Subway footlong awaiting me in the kitchen. Not sure if I just couldn't manage eating it when I got home or if it was a premeditated genius move to have it waiting for me when I woke up, but what I do now know is Subway makes for a surprisingly effective hangover cure!

You weren't the chap with the Surly Pacer at the W200, were you? I must say Surly have improved their paintjobs considerably since the days when I had one of the old chocolate brown Steamrollers.

Only two Festina jerseys in the park this morning. After all the promises made last night... Anyway, Tiny won the Family Fun Day race, taking a few 10 years in the sprint.

Was there any significant or dangerous breakaways?

Was a breakaway of two, rider from Festina (me), and some guy from AG2R -he refused to do any work, so I pulled him along most of the course, before dropping him on the Kyber to solo off for victory.

Then we did another lap :)

Was a great night. Few of us ended up going for a wonderfully healthy kebab and chips in Zaytoons. Well actually I ended up at Iskanders first, wondering where everyone had gotten to!
