I was in Xtra Vision yesterday and saw the above which looks like decent value . I bought a similar TV 8 months ago in Dunnes and payed €799.

Diden't take it but it has the bravia engine - lots of the cheaper Sony dont

Sounds like it could be a 32V40000 to me. I have definitely seen that model in xtra vision in the past. That model doesn't have an mpeg4 tuner though..
