    There lies... Another time
Where darkness & light are one
And as you tread the halls of sanity
You feel so glad to be
    Unable to go beyond
    I have a message
    From another time...

OH COME ON! Tell me i'm not the only one who appreciates Electric Light Orchestra. :D

No video, but after seeing some of their Wembley gig footage from 78, i'd have LOVED to have been at that gig.

Sadly, I was only two. :(

    Awesome.
Used to love that tune until a rake of TV advertisements started using it.

That said, the conclusion instrumental of that song is the best part of it. :D

My Dad got me into these when I was a young lad.

A very good mate of mine got me into them when I was 14. Scarier thing is, he was younger than me. :D

Oh i tried, trust me i tried. But it's gone the way of Chris Cornell's R&B Career.

You know it's just wrong, shouldn't have happened but you'll never fully forget it.

    You're very welcome indeed!
I actually got my hands on the remasters of Time and Secret Messages the other day. Two of their later albums before the band disintegrated. I've always been a fan of Time to be honest, i liked the concept behind it. And the fact that here we are now approaching 2010, and life has literally imitated art. :)

"I met someone who looks a lot like you, she does the things you do, but she is an IBM"

Yup, Jeff Lynne among others saw this sh*t coming back in 1981.

I've never heard Secret Messages but I do have Time. Last year I was at a car boot sale somewhere in Dublin and picked up a binch of ELO Vinyls for €2 or something: Eldorado, Time, Out of The Blue, Discovery, On The Third Day, Face The Music, Greatest hits, and I think maybe one or two more. Not bad!

Just need to get a new needle for my turntable :o
