Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

desktop stalls

    hi all

    quick one for ye. i am running xp and am having a problem when i start up my laptop.it goes to the desktop page with the chosen background (i went back to the default background) and there are no icons on the screen. the mouse is woking and i can get up the task manager but cant find whats wrong. after about 5 minutes all icons apper and everything is working.

    does anyone know what is causing the delay

    could be anything or just everything if you have too much starting up

    reboot in safe mode to compare speed

    use msconfig to turn off some stuff to see

    if only recently happening the run system restore / check for malware
