Scott was in way too many scenes tonight. Was half expecting him to turn up at the prison. I think Kim had something to do with Kath being in the lake.

I'm really hoping things might pick up when Mercedes comes back. With Nana and Myra away as well, I feel the lack of original McQueens has affected the balance of the show, forcing more Roscoe stuff down our throats to fill in the spaces. And with the best Roscoe currently in prison, we're getting more Freddie than ever.

Also maybe give Jack and Frankie something to do besides float around in the background - soaps underutilizing long standing characters is infuriating. At least Tony, Cindy, Darren, Nancy & Tom get given storylines (even if they could have better ones). Especially with the cast turnover on Hollyoaks anyone who's been in the show as long as that lot have should be cherished.

why am i still watching this car crash of a show? it goes more and more into the gutter by the episode. i feel so sorry for the cast having to act the rubbish they are given. good writing would equal a good show. it would even make freddie likeable

So it's official. The next victim of the Gloved Hand will be

one of the McQueens. Nana seems like an obvious choice, considering she's in hospital and if Diane Langton wants to retire, this could be a way to write her out unexpectedly. I do think that could be a bit of a red herring though, for it to be Nana. I think Phoebe would be a more likely candidate.
