Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Photo Slideshow Software...

    Howdy y'all,

Did a wee job on Saturday for a family and sat down yesterday to process the photos and create a slideshow that I could give them on DVD. It was my first time using the Slideshow creator in Lightroom, but after messing around with it for an hour or so I had something I was happy with. I then exported it and found that all it creates is a bunch of individual JPGs and not a slideshow at all at all...

Firstly, what is the point of this? You can create a slideshow but the only place you can view it is in Lightroom?

Secondly, any recommendations for slideshow software ? I can do it in Windows Movie Maker, but it's not great.

    Thanks
    Paul

According to this you can export to a PDF slideshow.

Other than that, ProShow Gold is very good.

I've also used Nero software to make a DVD slideshow too.

I use microsoft moviemaker, just import all the pictures into the moviemaker and put them in the order I want them to be shown in, I can then add background music, titles and credits also.

Producer is good alright. I only use it for DVD's and use another one for the online version.
