Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    First of all congrats!
I'd get to grips with what you already have.
The two kit lenses give you a good range of focal lengths so the best thing to do is play with them and find what kind of shots you find yourself taking most. Then you can decide if your need more expensive glass/flashes/filters etc.

    Congrats & have fun !
I have the Olympus E510, I got adapters off eBay that enables me to use older lenses (& from different manufacturers), but in manual mode ! You can pick up old prime lenses on eBay (or elsewhere) and save you paying out big bucks on new Zuiko glass. This might free up some cash for other niceities, like a bag, tripod or filters.

A €5 remote shutter release from ebay comes highly recommended! After that a tripod

Nice camera was thinking of it at one stage before I bought my Sony A100. A nice lens to get is the 25mm "pancake lens" and is the equivalent afaik of the 50mm on other cameras.

Well done, welcome to Olympus land, as Longshanks has said get a tripod (no need for an expensive one, nice light camera you have there) and remote release, they are invaluable.

First though, sit down and read this article, and whichever of his others takes your fancy, he does some great stuff on Oly gear.
