Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Renamed C drive to Z !

Somehow, and for some reason known to no-one I renamed my C drive to Z under Computer Management in the control panel and rebooted my laptop.
Now it's loading as far as the Windows log in screen - the blue one with the darker blue bands at teh top and bottom but instead of bring up the PC user names to log in it just has Microsoft XP.
Is there anything I can do to get it to load fully again?
    Thanks for reading.

Sorry if this seems basic I don't know what your level is but try safe mode. Hold the F8 key while the computer boots and 'Select Safe Mode'. Alternatively try 'Last Known Configuration.'

    Hiya,
thanks, I did try that and no joy, still sticking on the same XP screen.
Seriously, I'm so mad at myself, what was I thinking (or not!)

Get your XP cd, boot to that, go to the recovery console, log in and type 'fixmbr' followed by 'fixboot'
