Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anybody know if you can rent SLR's?

I want to get one eventually, but would like to get used to them first before spending the cash....

    Is it possible?

Conns in Dublin do rental, I think if you then decide to buy whatever you've rented they'll deduct that from the purchase price. If you're not in dublin it might be worth asking your local camera shop.

Note though if you would like to try a dslr for a slightly longer period it might actually be better to buy a cheapish 2nd hand one though to get used to the controls and then trade up if/when you notice the limitations of the older camera. I bought a 2nd hand canon 300d plus 50mm lens for about €200 and it has suited me fine so far except when I want to shoot at a higher ISO.
