I'd happily take any of those donks results.

seriously, would anyone turn down 6/5 odds on either side of this bet?

edit: obviously no runner no bet, not some bet where whoever plays the most tourneys has a huge edge.

my understanding is that the above is framed for total cashes in the series in Vegas - I would happily punt the English over the Irish in this match up if anybody wants to punt the Irish then let me know. I might even considertaking even money.

i remember reading smurfit saying he's still down money from poker tourneys even after winning the 400k at the wsop

    LOL

I think RT's point was that despite an assertion that both sides were donks by others that not many would turn down either side at 6/5.

My point was only semi-related in that I am looking for action on the English side picked above, I did say that I might consider taking evens.

I would be interested in taking this bet what is the terms of the bet?

Most cashes or per prize money won?

Sorry in work so cant read the orginal article.

Evens i presume BigCityBanker? Also what stakes?

so the bet would be framed on the collective cashes of Team England
    • DeWolfe
    • Ulliott
    • Sunar

Vs the collective cashes of Team Ireland
    • Smurfit
    • Parkinson
    • Black

at this years WSOP in Vegas (WSOPE does not count), for the avoidance of doubt the eligible events are those listed on the official website and do not include satellites. I suggest that The Hendon Mob is used as the official results keeper.

I will take Team England for any amount up to $1,000 (if you just want $50 then thats fine by me), we can have a mod escrow (unless I already know you but just dont know you by your boards name)

Collective amount of events cashed in or total $$$$ won

collective cashes - by that i mean if the Hendon Mob reports that Andy Black collected $100k from 4 different tournaments then he scores 100k.

So yes I guess to clarify the situation it is prize money collected.

eg. if players collect the following prizemoney over the course of the series then Team Ireland are the winners

    dewolfe 50k; ulliott; 100k; sunar 500k = total 650k
    smurfit 500k; black 200k; parky 125k = total 825k

I think the Brits should be 1/3 sure devilfish and dewolfe will play every event and I doubt that will be true if the Irish. How about a team of your choice vs a team of your choice maybe 3 or 4 of us or more, 250-500 euro a man winner take all

    Not a bad idea Richie...

Have not had a chance to look at how many events each irish player is likely to play etc..Although probably still have a small evens bet with BigCityBanker..

Yes maybe 5 of us at €200 a pop could be an idea

Each pick our own 3 players sounds like fun...

Anyone else any idea's for this or interested?

That's why I'd only take the results!

Btw Andy Black will be playing a sh1tload of tournies and I'm guessing Smurfit will be playing a pile too.

    who won?

  • Registered Users Posts: 992 ✭✭✭bigslick

Not Ireland I assume since de Wolfe snagged a bracelet
