Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was going to get one a few years back for the same thing, but I was put off by a guy in the business who told me that they need *a lot* of maintenance and repairs due to the large number of moving parts.

You're talking about a grand for one in nice working order. Anything less than that and you're going to need to learn to fix it up. I've heard most of the maintenance isn't very hard to learn.

There's a chap from Limerick posts here who has like 10 or 15 of them. He'd probably be able to offer some pointers.

    Cheers for the replies.
I wouldnt mind doing one up as its always a bit of fun and learning curve doing that kind of stuff. I will keep an eye on adverts and might chance a few old arcade places just in case.
    Thanks.

Keep an eye on Buy and Sell also.

I'd fixed up (Shopped) 3 pins (Black Hole, Doctor Who and Star Trek:The Next Generation) so far and I really enjoyed doing it.

The best place for information on repairs etc is the rec.games.pinball newsgroup. The people there are very helpful and without them I would never have been able to fix up my machines.

There is also some great repair guides here

    Yep - It's a great game.

I have it packed up now as I'm building a new house, but it's going to be in the games room along with the MAME Arcade machine and a pool table :)
