The Ocean to City race which takes place in Cork on May 30th 2009. The race is a handicap pursuit over 15 nautical miles in Cork harbour, open to fixed seat rowing boats & kayaks.

We currently have 80+ entries from the USA, Germany, Wales & Ireland.
We are still taking entries (till Friday 22nd May) but are also looking for volunteers to man points (shore safety, stewarding, launch & recovery) along the way.

There will also be a market place on Lapps Quay at the finish and entertainment for all the family.

The event is to celebrate the Ireland's maritime heritage & culture, and is a not for profit event.
