Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thunderbird - mailboxes disappeared

    Windows XP
    Thunderbird 2.0.0.21

    I had 2 IMAP accounts in TB. They were working fine. I closed TB (using the X). I reopened it a couple of mins later and the accounts are gone. It's just giving me the new account setup window now as if I was running TB for the first time.

    Any ideas?

    have a look in the profiles folder.
    http://www.mozilla.org/support/thunderbird/profile
    You might need to redirect thunderbird back at it.

    I've checked the profiles.ini etc as per your link and no luck.

    I've just set the mail accounts up again now, it was no big deal.

    My concern is more so why they disappeared in the first place now.

    Indeed. That's worrying. Have you backed up the profiles since?

    Nah .. because it's not that crucial to me at the moment ... I'm more worried about random sh!t happening then losing random stuff .. if you get me.
