Strange D-Sub connector needed

Hi lads. I'm looking for a 15 pin d-sub connector to connect up some hardware at work. The pin layout is 8+7. I've never seen one like this before.

This is a female version, I'l looking for the exact same thing, but male. The connection type is called DB15.



I couldn't find any in Maplin.

I'd be extremely grateful if anyone could help me locate some

Prt no. 465-378 for a budget ver of the plug. You need to order the hood separately.

They do the plug version of the pcb mount as in your picture.

It is, or rather was, commonplace as the so-called AUI connector from ethernet cards to their appropriate transceivers. Waaaay back in the day, DEC even made an all AUI ethernet hub called a DELNI, so that no transceiver (10BASE2 or 10BASE5 in those days) was needed. Those were the days
