    Hi all;

    Last year i started a small veggie patch no bigger than a foot wide and 6 ft long. I grew beetroot and carrots and to my surprise was a success.

    This year i am growing onions and parnsips in the veggie patch and planting the carrots soon. While all is growing well my main problem is weeds in the patch, anyway you can stop them?

    Thanks

    people usually plant veg the width of a hoe apart. Then you hoe between them. 1' x 6' is not that wide...out with the latex glove and hand pick them out. The only way so as not to damage your plants...A plot that size won't take you long...
