Embedding a photo

    How do I embed a photo into my post?

    I saw some advice in one of the stickies above, but it seemed to be talking about photos from websites (e.g. facebook) and using IE or Firefox.

    I'm on a Mac using Safari, and the photo would be one from iPhoto on my computer.

    You need to upload your picture to flickr or one of those first. Or if they're quite small you could upload them directly to boards as an attachment in your post.

    According to this poster, to embed a photo in a Boards.ie post you simply have to put and on each side of the link to embed a photo:

    However, I tried it and it didn't work. Anybody know how to do this?

    Thanks Ponster. Oddly, when I tested that on this thread a moment ago all three photos that I wanted to put in the post came out perfectly embedded here. However, I copied and pasted these perfectly working embedded photos into an Afterhours thread and it would not work so I had to link each of the three photos here:

    It's nothing you did wrong, all image posts are disabled in after hours :)
