2.42pm Ballybane Rd

    I was driving up to the Race Course for an exam around 2.42pm today on the Ballybane Rd.
    At the T junction just past the college, there was what seemed to be two women in cars stopped at the junction having a chat while there was a 10 car backup on each road of the T waiting for them to move on.

    What in the name of JASUS were they doing?

    I've seen gardai do this too. Walked past and they were laughing and joking so I figure it wasn't official business stuff.

    Well it was 2 women. They were probably wondering why someone was using indicators at a roundabout... or wondering what those yellow boxes are on the road... or... :rolleyes:

    Yesterday I approaching the magic roundabout from town after midnight and there was a car full of kids parked in the turn left lane. Engine switched off and lights off. How stupid can you get? Parking in an approach lane :rolleyes:

    I generally wouldn't have an opinion either way on female drivers, I don't think they're any worse than some male drivers...it just happens that female drivers are the ones who nearly hit me the most when I'm on foot because they're not paying attention to what is right in front of them.

    Thankfully not....I think finland have the right idea though....in terms of driving tests....would make the road a whole lot safer than our silly theory tests pretend to do.
