    Hi,

New to the chicken keeping world, so please bear with me.

Pullets. Got two, mix of RIR and a White Sussex.
First egg from one of them laid today. Got the hens from a chicken farm where I did see a couple of roosters in different parts.
Is there any chance my pullets first egg would be fertilised?

    ta

I think that after he mates wit her they can be fertilized for up to 30 days. Not 100per cent sure but il find out soon. It dosn matter though. Eat away. You can eat fertilized eggs as long as she hasn not been sitting on them. Just collect them every morning and they'l be perfect.
