Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A result against Derry and going third would be sweet, especially after the defeat on Tuesday, but it will be the third game in 6 days. Would be more than happy with a draw.

A win in Bray would set up the top of the table clash at The Cross next week very nicely. The way we are playing at the moment we do not ever look like conceding, much less losing.

Always knew Doolin was the man :P

There is the minor hurdle of gettting past the winding up order against yous on Monday, no? Or has Coughlan sorted that out?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 21,296 ✭✭✭✭gimmick

Ya, I am less worried about this than the previous orders tbh. The doom and gloom mongers are out in force though, but I honestly reckon they are just being a bit dramatic.

Time will tell, but I cannot see the revenue winding us up.

While we were muck theres always a sense of justice in an injury time winner against a team that have been time wasting since early in the first half.

Almost made the previous 94 minutes worth it!

I would have hated to be a Drogs fan last night.

And what a debut for Mark Marc Hughes!

To be fair, there is a huge gulf in class between the Premier and the First Divisions. This season all you lot should be after is stability and push on next.

That being said, I am glad he aint the City manager :)

Following an emergency meeting of the Dundalk FC Board of Management the club have issued the following statement:

Following an incident during the Dundalk v St Patrick's Athletic match in Oriel Park on Friday night, Dave Rogers has been dismissed, with immediate effect, due to gross misconduct. The club will not tolerate this type of behaviour from any member of our squad.

We has no monies and need to get rid of as many players as possible cheers scouse for making it easier.

The club will not be making any further comment on this issue at this time, until we confirm Fabio and Georgie are gone too.

    fixed their statement

Apparently we tried to sack McGuinness for the whole racism thing but the PFAI stepped in and stopped it.

That's funny. Bohs were time wasteing with 30 minutes to go last week and look what happened them. :)

Disgraceful stuff from Dundalk and I'd expect Rogers to take them to the cleaners for it. Can't stand the man but theres no way he should be getting sacked for mooning, given some of the stuff players get away with.

Ah, in fairness, i wouldn't say it's for the sending off. I'd say it was for the fact that he seems to be wearing a God damn g-string while playing football!!!

They're obviously looking for an excuse to get rid of him, and he's probably technically in breach of contract, but I agree that it's an overreaction.

If Keane won his case against Pats, and Connor against Bohs, Dundalk have absolutely no chance of winning this one, if Rogers chooses to pursue it.
