I would rather have gone with Jrue Holiday tbh. I cant remember the last time a player (Curry) looked so disappointed to be picked. He really wanted to go to the Knicks.

Ya usually when they ask draftees if there is anywhere they want to go they always give the old 'anywhere is good im just happy to be picked' line. But Curry said he'd love to go to New York. Never seen anyone do that before.

A Suns fan just posted on nanother forum that one of the Phoenix beatwriters speculated that that Curry was picked for the Phoenix Suns.

Amare Deal may be done next week (don't know why it couldn't get concluded tonight)

Thats unless Don decides to mess up again.

Brandon Jennings gone 10, I was at the All American hign school game last year and he outshone eveyone, had a good grounding with Roma, think he could be a good choice and end up hign on the asset list next year.

Holiday still available, thats a surprize, he must go 11?

Roma obviously didnt ground him enough:D Did you see when he came out after being late and started blowing kisses to the crowd? Bucks better be ready for some major ego!

saw it now, can't believe there were 4 picks before Rubio  if I was a Twolves fan I would be delighted, would have preferred the Thunder to get Thabeet though...my joint favourite team with the Bulls

also Hansborough was a lot higher than expected...DeMar DeRozan fell a lot more than I thought

Cant be done until July 6th according to 1 commentator (must be down to some type of restricted free agency)

    Holiday at 17 to 76ers

Minnesota really stacking up on guards...good players though

Rubio might get traded. Doesn't make sense to draft two PG's in a row

Thats why they just drafted Ty Lawson, 3 makes perfect sense  Just said Lawson will go to the Nuggets for a future pick.

I thought Blair would've been drafted by now. If I was the Wolves I'd move Flynn instead of Lawson.

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,176 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

Warriors will lack height if they plan on playing Amare at C. Still he's a big step up on Biedrins

Ya because apparently they owe them a pick or something?! That sorts that out but still confused about Johnny Flynn!

The Wolves are having an interesting draft to say the least!

Hope to god we do end up with Stoudemire. Not sure I can see Curry being anything more then a spot up shooter in the NBA IMO

Really? Curry looks like a star in the making to me. Great personality too, seen some interviews with him on PTI, very down to Earth

Jrue Holiday could well be the biggest steal in the draft

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,176 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

I wonder what Dejuan Blair did in his workouts to put his draft stock down so far?

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,176 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

Blazers need a PG more than anything, although a lot of the good guards are gone

Hope the Thunder take Blair now

Edit:why'd they take a PG over Dejuan Blair? Jesus Christ

Edit 2: Ah, Bj Mullens to the Thunder for what's his name, why didn't they just not pick Mullins?

I wouldn't be surprised if Amare doesn't accept any contract extension offered to him by the Warriors and instead will want to join LeBron or D-Wade in 2010 meaning we'd be stuck with Stephen Curry

Knowing the Warriors luck thats probably whats gonna happen

I nominate 'wingspan' as the offical buzz word of the 2009 NBA draft :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,066 ✭✭✭Sea Devils

DeJuan Blari is falling falling falling

    Taj Gibson goes above him.

The injury concerns of Blair must really scare GM's

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,066 ✭✭✭Sea Devils

Quentin Richardson traded to Memphis for Darko Milicic.

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,176 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

So many moves, it's hard to keep track. Blair surely wont slip to 2nd round?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,066 ✭✭✭Sea Devils

LOL at the Knicks fans chanting "we Want LeBron"

No idea who the Cavs just drafted they probably eeded someone they could stash overseas to reduce luxury tax and Eyenga just happened to be that guy

Looking at it a bit better I can see why they would have drafted three PG's because it will give them future picks/players for one of their point guards.

Having said that I just don't get what they'd draft Flynn especially since Rubio will probably start straight away

Blair finally gone. Taken by the Spurs. Jay Bilas drops a flurry of 'wingspans' while describing him!
