Savings Interest Rate

I am looking at putting away between 300 & 500 euro a month medium term (3/4/5 years.I will need access to the cash the odd time so most of these fund types are out,I had a Ever Green fund with BOI for a few years an it took a massive hit. Any recommendations...?
