Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've half a memory of a "pig" being a contraption that used be blown through an oil pipe by compressed air to clear the line of any oil.

Jepp, that's about right. Don't know about oil pipes, but in gas pipes the yoke is propelled by the gas itself and is used to clean out any sediments/dirt. Takes usually quite a while, up to a few weeks IIRC, to travel from whereever it is put in to a terminal. I've been told it's called pig because of the noise it makes travelling along the pipe, but the name being an acronym makes more sense.

But sorry, no pics of such pigs ...

    The building.
I know that is not the sterotypical italian image...but...it says a lot about my country.
I suppose it's Northern Italy somewhere, I think.

Went back to check on the Swans who I posted a pic of in last random photo thread, sadly only 3 out of the 4 left but doing fine.

I was able to get close to them again but under the watchful eye of the parents.
