Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

incredible shot decimal, is that HDR? Where is it?

Thanks, it's somewhere in Wexford. My friend drove me there last week about 9 or 10 o' clock at night. It's HDR, it was very dark so I didn't get very good detail, HDR gave me the best results.

I just wish I knew how to get there again!

One of those 'bonus shots' you get with film. Just snapping away to finish out a roll and not really caring...then it turns out my favourite from the roll.
Olympus Trip 35, fuji film and absolutely zero PP. Straight from the can.

Well...it's been a while.I took a long break from photography that lasted nearly 3 months, all due to a major lack of inspiration.I eventually got the camera out again while I was over in Scotland for the Leinster match and took a couple of shots.Hopefully I won't be that long away from the camera again :( You wouldn't realise how much you miss photography.

It's called fort mountain, 2 miles from Wexford town on the wellington bridge road, turn right at the mountain bar pub. Grea\t views from up there, but it was too dark when I went.

@RB is that Egypt shot from Karnak? I preferred there to Cairo when I went.

Indeed it is from Karnak and fully agree, much preferred the Luxor region to Cairo. Don't plan on ever returning to Cairo, however it *could* be a good spot if you like street photography I suppose!

Here is one of the Sphinx I took many years ago on slide film. But between the scanning and pix.ie desaturating it looses most of the contrast.

Yeah, hate the way pix does that

Ah, I must visit it sometime, I thought it might have been a flooded quarry outside Bunclody.

(Flickr seems to posterise the blue gradient for some reason - even on the large image. The original has a seamless mild vignette straight out of camera.)

Just back from South West France. Took over 2000 photos :D

Here is my first attempt at HDR. This is the Cathédrale Saint-Étienne in Cahors. Tried to avoid that unrealistic HDR painterly look.

But maybe a little less saturation, and get rid of the 'dirty' white weed in the right corner of the pic. It looks like a fabulous location !
