Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    ^^ Very nice Tzetze ^^
But maybe a little less saturation, and get rid of the 'dirty' white weed in the right corner of the pic. It looks like a fabulous location !

Thanks for the C&C, will try reprocessing with less saturation. I don't think the white plant in the right foreground detracts from the pic at all, and it's no more a 'weed' than anything else in there. ;)

It is indeed a fabulous location. Dún na Rí forest park near Kingscourt, Co. Cavan. I hope to get back out there again over the next few days.

Wandering around Dublin Centre, last weekend, Near Essex Street there is an old house, reputed to be the oldest standing house in Dublin. Two old brothers live in this hidden gem. This time the gate to the garden was open and a delight of venitian masks, statues and pot plants in a little courtyard awaited. This courtyard is probably no larger than 4 metres in depth and width yet it is packed. I politely knocked and one brother emerged from the potting shed at the back. We traded stories and talked about gardening and how did the garden manage to grow when all the surrounding walls were at least 5 stories high. How Ireland has changed. He refused to pose for a picture in his little paradise, a shame as it is this man's vision created so much in this tiny space.
I stood back as far as I could and opened up the Old Super Ikonta to f/3.5 and steadied my hand. I must say the shaft of light is a happy accident, I don't recall any direct sunlight as the sun wasn't in a direct line but behind the adjacent buildings. So this cannot be flare or a shaft of sunlight.
    Ghost?

Spent a great afternoon one evening in the town of Brive in France chatting to the locals as they played petanque/boules on the town square. There was much rugby related slagging (I had my grand slam t-shirt on). After spending about an hour photographing these guys they invited me to play. I gotta say it was one of my best travel experiences.

Anyway here are 2 versions of a shot I took of some of the men watching the game.
