Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Very new to this photography business and wanted to know if anyone knew anywhere that does classes in slr's and lens etc. I live in Drogheda so the places in dublin are a bit far. There is a drogheda camera club but no relpy to any mails / calls.

Can you get 'personal training' in how to use my camera properly and if so, what's a standard price?

    (I've got a 400d with a 70-300 apo lens in the post)

Trial and error works for many people. Get the camera, get out and take picts, and learn as you go.

Joining a camera club can be useful too, to help progress your knowledge.

Just get out and start taking photos!

I started posting here with camera phone pictures a year ago and basically everything I now know is from comments made by people on the (mostly awful pictures I've posted up here.
