Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I hear that automated barriers have been put up in Hueston Station.

How do these barriers work with the credit union tickets for intercity journeys?

They don't - you go to the central area where the sign points for "contract tickets" and the gate operator will let you through.

Sigh, that will be fun getting on the 5pm train on a Friday

Will they leave you through the initial barriers well before, I'm normally there by 4:15 for the 5pm train?

They might, I'm not quite sure, but you won't know which train is which until a few minutes before departure, as it's only announced at the last minute. Keeps intending passengers off the platform.

I can't see any problem with that.

It's not quite as chaotic as you might think!

The cork train is always in the same place

My parents got the Cork train (which always leaves from the same platform) on Wednesday and they said there was chaos.

They wouldn't leave people through the barriers early, so people lined up behind a particular barrier, but then when it came time to leave people on, IR changed that gates that they left people through, so there was a sudden massive scramble of people changing barriers.

    Sounds awful.
