It's been awfully quiet on here for the last few days.

I'll go for Pool 1 : 2 Spurs (and hope Everton stuff Fulham 6-0)

    Even though I know it'll probably end up being a draw 1 : 1.

(and Fulham will prob beat Everton).

I have spurs 2-1 winners with Defoe and Keane(scoring the winner) hitting the back of the net:D

Watch Robbie go today. It might have been his boyhood club, but his treatment was abysmal. I can see him having a blinder and ramming it down Benitz's throat. Forecast 2-3 With Bobbie and Defoe on the scoresheet.

    Time for realism?

Fulham will beat Everton (Everton's recod at Craven Cottage is, I understand, awful)

Spurs will lose to Liverpool (The bookies are rarely wrong and Liverpool are very strong at home)

So the season finishes with us missing out on the Europa Cup but, given where we were when 'Arry joined, I am more than happy.

Not sure what liverpool will turn up seeing as they have little to play for. Id imagine Rafa will really want them to sign off well though, and i can see them beating us, although i think we will score. 2-1 Liverpool.

Totally agree. We have to face it- Liverpool are better than us, especially at home. I would LOVE to see Keano have a blinder and prove his point, but I think the gap in talent is just too much.

However, i can see Everton beatin Fulham- we need 3 points to book a place in the Europa LEague...but I'm not sure if the Europa League is really worth it-but thats another debate

I share the realism or pessimism of those who feel that we won't qualify for Europa, but the Spurs fan inside me is still hopeful of 2 shock results.

In my job, we have a soccer prediction pools for all staff and I decided to stick my neck out and go for a very daring prediction that will have all of you dashing out to have me submitted into a psychriatic hospital.

    LIVERPOOL 4 TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 4
    Hypia (11) Defoe (9)
    Gerrard (26) Keane (72) (86)
    Kuyt (58) Lennon (90)
    Alonso (81)

Well 7th place did not come to us :(

Still considering the start to the season I'm glad we weren't on Sky today ;) just watched Newcastle go down and I'm actually delighted for Hull to stay up.

Next year is looking good for us ( have said same for last 10 seasons mind you ) :D

The match was shown live on Setanta Ireland. Spurs just didn't seem interested; thinking of their summer hols, I suppose.

I was getting at that Sky were showing three relegation fight matches ;)

Not too disappointed we didnt qualify for europa league as its a potential 19 extra games next season. No excuses now for having a right go at it next season and try and dis lodge those goons outta 4th spot. After the season we've had , 8th spot will do nicely.

Shows how much I know.......mind you, according to Motson, this is the first time Everton have taken points away to Fulham since '66....

I think in all honesty A couple of strong signings and keep onto our obvious stars and we can have go at a 6 to 4th place finish,

Ho many of us would have taken 8th spot just before Harry took over?

I think everybody would have. :)
