Trap bar not allowed. Sorry. There was an example video and the rules stated that deadlift of either sumo or conventional was allowed. I have added a clarification now to say "trap bar not allowed" to make this explicit. You are obviously a power house so please come back with a conventional/sumo version and it will be added no problem.

    Bench added.

    Do you squat?

    Good lift. Well done.

I was gonna say why didn't you throw 200kg on it after your 190. 210 won't be a stretch either by the looks of things.

    I'd say he'd do 230 or more.
    Keep going!!!

I'm gonna go with these four.

    200kg deadlift @ 114kg
    wilks total = 116.48

    170kg squat @ 114kg
    wilks total = 99

    115kg bench @ 114kg
    wilks total = 58.24

3 lift total from these three lifts is 470kg @ 114kg BW

    80kg Overhead Press @ 114kg
    wilks total = 46.592

have a look at them when ye get a chance, cheers

Dead's a no go for hitching I'm afraid.

    Bench and press are good.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on the squat, even tho it looks like the spotter coulda been on ya!

    right.
    fair enough.

I though hitching was defined as downward movement of the bar though.

its also considered hitching if the thighs support the bar.

    No, that's a downward movement :D;)

Hitching's getting the bar onto your thighs and riding it up, you're at the lower end of the scale, strongman are at the extreme end.

Tbh the strength was there to pull it, you just got impatient. You'll get pulled up on it in comp so just stick with the pull next time and think of pushing your hips thru. Talc will make it easier too.

    170kg squat @ 114kg
    wilks total = 99

    Added.
    115kg bench @ 114kg
    wilks total = 58.24

Added. Your WILKS is actually 066.9760 for that bench press, so it bumps you up a few places. Where did you get 58.24 from? :)
3 lift total from these three lifts is 470kg @ 114kg BW

Do you have another deadlift video you want to include for the sake of getting a total?
    80kg Overhead Press @ 114kg
    wilks total = 46.592

Added. No WILKS ranking on this one though - just absolute weight lifted. If there is a tie the lighter person goes ahead

Looks like 531 is going well for you. Well done.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,818 ✭✭✭Inspector Coptoor

yeah, its going well, cheers Bossarky.

this a video of 170kg x 3 in the DL
1st two reps should be ok, last rep is a bit dodge.

if one of those is given, thats a 440kg Raw total.

I don't mean to be harsh, but this is what a deadlift Should look like.

Gona have to say there was a hitch at the top of all 3 of them again I'm afraid. It really is a matter of just being patient enough and not trying to rush it.

    You're such a sweetheart!! haha

Good post tho, watch the lockout on the second rep, the bar slows down really badly but I dont try to get my knees under it to make locking it out easier.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,818 ✭✭✭Inspector Coptoor

    ok judges

check this video out and see if you can give one of the reps a white light

    170kg deadlift x 5
in my own opinion, the first three are good, 2nd two are hitched.

    170kg deadlift @ 115kg BW
    wilks total = 98.787

    3 lift total
    bench: 115kg
    squat: 170kg
    deadlift 170kg

    BW: 115kg

    Wilks total: 264.4

    First 2 = perfect
    3rd = maybe
    4th and 5th = 'fraid not

Just as well ya only have to do the one in comp!! You've made big improvements on it over the past few weeks, well done.

Ya might wanna look at grip and stance width... your grip's a bit narrow for your stance, and your stance is a bit wide for convo, imo! (ya made need the wider stance to get into position tho.)

shizz! just realised i had a total to post up!

    Squat:
    120 x 1

    Deadlift
    165 x 1

it looks hitched but thats cause my sweat pants got caught on it.

    Bench
    75x1

    75
    120
    165
365kg total, cant wait to push that higher :P

    done at a 92kg bw

Wouldn't say the DL looked hitched, just stopped and pulled thru.

Lol at your bench set up btw... same as me, but I had to prop it up with plates cos I'm a short ar$e.

    All good lifts btw.

i usually prefer getting a spot on the regular benches, its not even in case i fail, its the fecking racks are really rickety and pressing them out sucks

I had it set up PERFECTLY today. No prssing out, just pulled it out smoothly and into position. Really liked it.

id say you got a sh1t load of stares with the weight your moving, i have like the 2nd highest squat ive seen up there, the other guy competed in olympic lifting :P

the power racks arent bad at all for bench set ups, its the actual bench press racks that suck! the hooks are so low down i have to press them out about 10 inches,
