Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all. My 1987 2.0L petol Talbot express has a problem with electrics. The windscreen wipers only work on fast speed and then quite slowly and the air blower in the cab for demisting the windscreen etc is also quite weak. Radio works fine but the lights are also slightly dim. The battey has been fully charged and the starter turns over good and strong. Any ideas how to fix. Cheers.

It sounds like a voltage drop.

You need to check the main power supply to the fuse board. This should be no less than half a volt lower than your battery voltage.

You also need to check your earth leads for corrosion. I would be of the opinion that is far more likely that you have a bad earth.
