Changing front end M4

Hi there,

Im looking to change the front end of my Dboys CQB SD to a normal M4A1 type.

I've been looking at this but im not sure if its too long(I thing the inner barrel on mine is 247mm open to correction)

Any suggestions?

You know that outer barrel you linked is that not too long for my CQB version and would I need to buy a flashider also ?

EDIT: I think this is the thing im looking for, would that work?

that railed handguard on the sd version you have got should work, the one on your link i dont know if it would attach on ok, if you want it like the one in the picture you would need a cqb barrrel or a barrel extention beacause the barrel end would be a bit inside the handguard see like this picture http://www.khmountain.com/airsoft/popup_image.php?pID=309,you would need a flashider

Yeah but I cant seem to get the rail of the barrel on my version.

You know the way you say barrel extension is that the ineer brass one your on about or the outer metal black barrel?

Ok so it had another go with the front end and managed to get the rail system and the outer barrel out from the inner barrel

But the outer barrel wont come out from the rail system.If I pull or push it wont come out from the rails

An educated guess would suggest a grub screw underneath one of the rails, probably the bottom one (unless its a one piece RIS).

No luck, it must be a one piece RIS because it wouldnt budge.

I'm going to get this barrel as its cqb because my inner barrel is about 240mm

Anyone sure if this would work instead of the plastic handguard? Its different from the other one I posted before.
