NTL remote for disabled person?

    Hi,

We (like so many others) have 2 remotes at home for watching tv - one for the tv, then one for the NTL box which goes through the AV channel.
The remote for the NTL box has tiny crowded buttons on it and is totally unusable for a family member who is disabled, and v frustrating as a result.

I've read the threads about universal remotes etc, but most people seem find them unreliable and difficult to use. We wouldn't mind having 2 remotes if the NTL one had bigger buttons and was easier to use.

Does anyone know if there are any remotes you can get that have extra big buttons and are simple to use, and are specifically designed for elderly / disabled people? And of course, would work with the NTL box.

NTL don't seem to provide any such service themselves.

    Thanks!

The newer upc boxes come with a bigger remote. I'm not sure if it will suite your needs but the button are spaced out a lot more and should be more manageable.
