Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Strange issue with Windows Sidebar

Multiple instances of the calender gadget are running. If I attempt to delete via clicking on the calender or by going through control panel, the system freezes and I need to shutdown via the power button.

On properties, the option to 'Restore gadgets installed with windows' is greyed out.

AVG is up to date and a scan reveals no issues. I've googled and I cannot find a similar issue.

Any ideas on how to fix?

Try disabling the Sidebar first and rebooting the computer.

Then, in Windows go to the following location:

    C:\User\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets

From here, see if there is more than one Calendar.gadget and delete it.

If that doesn't work, try using the following guide here!

Also, if you haven't tried already, update to Service Pack 2 as I seem to recall mention in the fixes, of it sorting an issue with the Sidebar, making it more stable.
