Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

False colours and low resolution on boot

    hi there just wondering if anyone could identify a problem im having.

    When i boot up my laptop with vista basic the resolution and colours are all wrong its tiny resolution and false colours.
    If i reapply the resolution it works fine but it messes up my desktop shortcuts and such so id like to be able to fix it.

    I do know the cause of the problem i installed fallout and fallout 2 there yesterday and im pretty sure thats whats doin it but does anyone have any suggestions apart from unonstalling them??

    Reinstall the graphics driver

    Reinstall graphics driver ,you might have installed an older version of dirextx ,eg version8.Run dxdiag program to check,you should have version 9.
    CLICK START run type dxdiag in the command box.Click Ok.

    thanks for the quick reply i checked dxdiag it says i have directx10?

    would reinstalling take much effort and how should i go about it would you say

    EDIT: i uninstalled the two programmes just there and everything seems fine thanks for the help i suppose ill just live with it when i wanna have to play the games.
    it wasnt that big a deal anyway just a little annoying thing
