Name that riff!

I've got a great idea here for guitar players, someone post a riff from a well-known song(No obscure or home-made things please), everyone else then trys to guess it after playing it or whatever means.

Hint:
Its the first half of a riff from a VERY well known 80s song, Its supposed to be played on an Electric Bass or Guitar with overdrive but you will still be able to recognise it with typically any acoustic or electric guitar(Or Piano for that matter if you translate the bar into sheet music)

Yep, thats it alright, thats only the first half of the riff

The full riff is that bar and a repeat of that bar minus the last open 4th string.


Next up anyone care to post a riff or will I do one?

Is that for electric or acoustic?
Played it on my acoustic(Nylon stringed so its bound to sound off if its for electric).
